ISS!!! won the title of 2007 Grand Champion at the Maine State Championship held at Zach's Farm in York, Maine, 8/4-5, with a 5th place in Ribs, a 5th place in Pork, a 2nd place in Brisket, and a 4th place in Chef's Choice Lobster.

The Team won Reserve Grand Champion in the Grilling contest, with a 1st place in the Chicken Wings category and a 1st place in the Blueberry Dessert category.

On Sunday July 29, 2007, I Smell Smoke!!! was awarded the New England Barbecue Society's Team of the Year award for the 2006-2007 season. The team was also awarded Team of the Year awards for the Ribs and Pork categories. The awards were presented after two days of competition at the  New England Regional BBQ Championship held at the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.

ISS!!! placed 3rd overall in Saturday's BBQ contest with a 5th in Chicken, a 4th in Pork and a 2nd in Brisket. On Sunday, the team placed 8th overall in the grilling event.
